CATALOGUE
Priced listing of stamps showing pictures, technical features and varieties sorted by year and alphabetical order.
CENTERING
Location of stamp design. When the margins outside the design are exactly equal the stamp is called "perfectly centered". It is not common in old stamps.
CERES
French catalogue of the stamps of France, Monaco and French colonies.
CINDERELLA
Stamp-like label without postal validity. It can be perforated like a real stamp.
COIL
Stamps which are produced in roll form for use in vending and stamp machines. Usually they are horizontally or vertically perforated.
COMMEMORATIVE
Stamp issued to honor a person, anniversary or historical event.
CONDITION
The quality state of a stamp.
CONSTANT VARIETY
A printing variety which apperas always in the same position of the stamps sheet.
CONTEMPORARY
Philatelic period from 1970 to nowadays.
CUT CORNER
Part of the upper right hand corner of the envelope removed with scissors with stamps still on.
