Stars outlines are undefined and inaccurate.
The stars are not all lined up vertically. A line cannot be drawn vertically through the middle dividing them in half unlike type 1 and 2. The stars are lined up in alternate columns: in one column it is possible to draw a diagonal line through the centre of the stars dividing them into equal halves, in the next column this is not the case.
Like in type 2 the columns lean at an angle away from the base of the stamp.
