- Stars are smaller than type 1 and less precise, their outlines are not very accurate. Stars are lined up in columns, but the columns are never parallel to either of the edges of the stamp. The design therefore appears to be leaning to one side compared to the bottom of the stamp to a greater or lesser degree. There are four positions for this watermark.
