- The Kingdom of Morocco is a country in the North Africa; it is bordered by Algeria to the east and Western Sahara territory to the south. Actually Morocco controls most of Western Sahara and consider Mauritania as its southern adjoining country. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the north. Morocco is a constitutional monarchy with an elected parliament. It was a French protectorate from 1912 to 1956, year of its independence.
