- The democratic Republic of Uganda is a country in Eastern Africa. It borders on the north with South Sudan, on the east with Kenya, on the south with Tanzania and Rwanda and on the west with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is a landlocked country. It was a British protectorate from 1894 to 1962, year of the indipendence.
