- The Kingdom of Swaziland is a country in the South of Africa. It is surrounded by South Africa with the exception of Mozambique to its east. It is not adjacent to the seaside. It was a British protectorate from 1881 to 1968, year of its independence. After constitutional reform of 2006 Swaziland become an absolute monarchy.
